TORONTO, August 9, 2017 – As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Pizza Pizza has brought back its beloved Bocci Bits. The garlic-infused, Parmesan-topped dough bits first made their mark in 2000 with customers who were left wanting more when the company stopped making them.
“We’ve had customers asking for them ever since we took them off the menu,” says Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing Officer at Pizza Pizza and one of the biggest fans of the Italian specialty. “What better time to bring them back than in our 50th anniversary year.”
Made fresh in store, Bocci Bits are available at all traditional Pizza Pizza locations at the special price of $1.50 per mini-bucket.
Reintroduced to the menu last month, demand for the bits has exceeded company expectations so far.
The company has not revealed how long the Bocci Bits will be available.
“My suggestion is eat them while you can!” concludes Finelli.
